Testimonials

Let our clients talk for us. We are glad to share life stories in which our trainees were able to take part. A lot of our dogs became loved family members and loyal assistants for police and the disabled.

A year ago, I would have never believed that I'd need a dog this much. Now I can’t imagine life without him. So, I'll start with the facts: I have a big family, that includes my husband, Jim, and three grown-up children, Lily, Rosy, and James. We live in a house in the countryside, which you’d probably agree is a perfect place for having a dog. Our children were constantly asking for a dog. However, at first, my husband and I didn’t give in. Having a dog is expensive and time-consuming. None of us had any ability to care for pets bigger than a hamster, and both of us work five days a week.

The only possible option was getting a well-trained guard dog. After some years, we finally came to an agreement and got a German Shepherd. Cane Sapiens told us that German Shepherds are versatile and highly-trained dogs, so they can be trained in various ways. They also get on well with family members, including children, which was our main concern. It was important for us that our dog could be trained to guard and be kind and playful. It occurred to me that German Shepherds would be the perfect fit!! BTW, it's a boy named Thomas and he has brown eyes and a black tipped tail.

To be honest, I had never believed that we would ever really use a dog for guarding. I mean, what can our handsome Thomas boy do except for playing, wrestling with our kids, and fetching? But some weeks after we bought Thomas, some teenagers climbed over our fence late in the evening, looking to steal some metal parts that my husband forgot to hide in the garage. I HAD NEVER SEEN PEOPLE JUMP OVER THE FENCE SO FAST. I was standing next to the kitchen window and saw the whole thing. Thomas reacted super fast, barking and was ready to jump at them if needed. That's when I understood we had made a good decision! What if they had wanted to break inside our house? Thomas is now a proud member of our family thanks to Cane Sapiens!!!

I was about nine years old when we got a Rottweiler. His name was Johnny. At first, it was just like a teddy bear to me, and then he grew up and became the best dog in the world. Not just because he was MY dog, but because I haven’t met such a dog since. He was a very kind, well-mannered dog that was obedient and loved children. I don't know how, but he had some kind of maternal instincts. We had a baby at home, my small sister, and Johnny literally nursed and looked after the child. Passing by the children's bedroom, if he heard her crying, he immediately barked to call someone and led them into the room and licked the wooden bars of the baby bed.

Our Rottweiler was also an on-duty guard dog. He was never afraid to show every newcomer who the boss of the house was. He didn’t bite but he always growled at people he had never seen before or neighbors he’d meet on the way. They thought he was angry, but I knew he was just showing that he was guarding my family.

When I was 17, our beloved Johnny passed away. He was getting older and one day just fell asleep and never woke up. I was really upset. Many friends suggested choosing a new dog that would help smooth over the loss of Johnny. But I didn't even want to think about replacing Johnny with another dog. It's been a long time filled with tears but, one day I finally felt I was ready to bring a new family member into our house. That is how I met my new Rottweiler, Mark, from Cane Sapiens. He’s an amazing boy and is perfectly trained. I feel so much better when we have walks in the park and play together. Such a relief, thanks!

I just want to thank Cane Sapiens for all their help! I was probably the most demanding customer you’ve ever had, however you’ve made my dreams come true! I am now a happy owner of the Cane Corso. They may look imposing and outwardly awkward, but this is deceiving. My dog loves playing, running, and just being active! He gets along well with my children and has become like a reliable babysitter for them, which convinced me of my choice. Cane Corsos are also kind and attentive.

So if you’re looking for a dog that looks imposing but is affectionate and good with children, a Cane Corso is the perfect choice!
